NodeBB now offers cross-platform push notifications, enabling members to know about new replies and other updates instantly.

Everyone knows push notifications are a great way to get updates. Until recently, however, they’ve only been accessible to mobile apps. We’re working to change this.

Our first step toward making push notifications more accessible has been adding OAuth support to Pushbullet. This enables apps to offer push notifications for their service without needing to have their own mobile apps and building out a push infrastructure.

We’re excited to have NodeBB as one of our first OAuth partners to be fully operational.
