We’ve got two great updates going out today. Here are the details:
Group Texting Support
Our latest Android update adds support for replying to group text messages from your computer or Android tablet. This has been a popular request for a long time so we’re really happy to have it ready to go.
Our Chrome extension, website, and Windows desktop app will start letting you reply to groups as soon as you have the latest Android update. Our Safari, Firefox, and Opera extensions have updates to enable group texting submitted for review today and should be available soon. (Replying to group texts does require your phone be running Android 5.0 Lollipop or later.)
Since replying to group texts is brand new, replies sent to groups won’t start to count against your free limit until January 1st. (You’ll be able to send group texts even if you’ve already hit your free message limit this month, too, so go give it a try!)
Change Drives In Remote Files
We added Remote Files last week which let you browse and request files from your other devices. The update was extremely well received which is great.
One piece of feedback we heard loud and clear was that you should be able to switch drives (from the C:\ drive to others like D:\ or E:\, etc). We took this feedback and got to work. Once you’ve got our latest update for Windows desktop and Android, you’ll be able to switch drives without any trouble.
Happy Holidays!
The holidays are almost upon us now! This will probably be our last big update of 2015 and we’re really happy to have this update out before the end of the year—it gets Pushbullet to a great place to close out the year. We hope you agree.
2016 will be here in just a few short weeks. We hope you all have a great holiday season and we’ll see you back here soon for more great updates in 2016!
