We launched Channels last week and it’s been growing really fast. We’re highlighting awesome new channels by topic as we add them to our catalog. This week, it’s gaming!
All of these channels are designed to have infrequent but high quality updates. You won’t hear about every little change, but you will be the first to know the biggest news.
Introducing Pushbullet Channels
Pushbullet Channels are notification feeds that can be subscribed to.
When something I care about happens, I should get alerted to it right away. I should get this alert no matter what device I'm using and I should only see it once no matter how many devices I have.
What I've just described hasn't previously been possible—the closest we've got is email, and email simply isn't good for this.
Channels have come out of this desire. Pushbullet already synchronizes notifications across devices and makes sharing links and more incredibly simple. We have everything that's needed to make this work exactly like it should.
Easily Reply To Text Messages From Your Computer
We recently worked with EvolveSMS to enable replying to text messages from PC. Because of how great this feature is, we've now made it work for all texting apps!
It's great when things just work right out of the box. Pushbullet already makes seeing texts and other notifications on your computer dead simple, now we’re making replying to those texts just as easy.
Easier Pushing From Our iPhone App
Pushing pictures and more from our iPhone app is now way easier.
Pushbullet is perfect for getting something from one device or computer onto another. This week, we’ve made pushing from our iPhone easier than it’s ever been.
Pushing a picture is now as simple as selecting it from your camera roll. Addresses can now be selected or entered and you see it right on the map.
Introducing Universal Copy & Paste
Copy and paste should automatically 'just work' across your devices. Until now, however, nobody has truly made this a reality.
Everybody knows how important copy and paste is to using computers so having it work instantly across device boundaries is incredibly cool. See it in action here:
