SMS Conversations On Your Computer
Pushbullet for Android has enabled seeing and replying to individual text messages for a while now. It’s one of our most popular features. Today, we’re turning texting from your computer into an amazing experience:
Instead of replying to individual messages, Pushbullet now has a full messaging experience for SMS that’s synced with your phone. This means you can comfortably text from your PC while at work, then pick up the conversation later on your phone and all of your messages will be right where you expect them to be.
Feedback Makes A Better App
We released our largest update ever earlier this week. The update made some significant changes to Pushbullet. We knew many of them were great improvements, but as with any big change, we were bound to get some things wrong.
We got a ton of feedback over the last few days and have been hard at work making the most important changes right away. Here’s the results so far:
Meet The New Pushbullet
Today, Pushbullet received it’s biggest update ever. The improvements we’ve made are found at every level of Pushbullet and we’re extremely proud of the results. You’ll feel the difference right away.
In this post I’m going to take you through the biggest improvements we made to each app. Let’s get started with…
A Universal Messenger
Pushbullet was built to connect. It was built because even though technology is meant to make our lives easier, the basic act of sending things can sometimes be hard. We have phones, tablets, and computers. We have Apples and Androids. Connecting all of these devices and platforms is the reason we exist.
Introducing Portal
We're almost finished with our biggest Pushbullet update ever. In the meantime, here's a new app from us to you: Portal.
Portal makes transferring files from your computer to your phone as simple as possible. It's a brand new app made by us here at Pushbullet.
Reply To BBM and GroupMe From Your Computer With Pushbullet On Android
A few weeks ago, we enabled replying to messages from WhatsApp, Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, Line, and Telegram. This feature makes it easy to respond to messages from friends and family even when you don’t know where you left your phone (we’ve all been there). Today, GroupMe and BBM join the list of apps we support!
